About Us

HABARI CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION (HCO) is a sovereign, non- profit making, non-political NGO dealing with environmental conservation, protecting wildlife and promoting tourism in Tanzania. One of our target is to plant 1,000,000 trees annually and conducts several seminars in different regions concerning stop wildlife crimes campaigns. The organization works in collaboration with different partners including Central and Local Government structures. It also collaborates with various executing partners and donors.

Our Vision & Mission

Vision
To advocate for the dissemination and use of information for environment protection, recovery, and conservation by providing education among youth, women, and community in order to leverage its potential to drive the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union (AU) Agenda 2063.

Mission
To cultivate an environmental literacy culture in efforts to create an empowered environmental society capable of improving its well-being and bridging the environment‐ knowledge divide for sustainable future generation.
